A-Vortex como nombre artístico de Alex Martínez, nació con la idea de transmitir a los oyentes sus más oscuros y profundos gustos personales por el Hardcore más alternativo de la escena.

Desde 2012, sus sets se caracterizan por la oscuridad y la distorsión creando un ambiente Industrial que nos hace evadirnos de un mundo arrastrado por las modas o los gustos más comerciales. Atraído también por la cultura Gabber, A-Vortex pretende conectar todos nuestros sentidos manteniendo la atmósfera siniestra y distorsionada desde bajos hasta altos bpms.

Sus inicios en el mundo del DJ, fueron grabando sets para radio webs y podcasts personales, los cuáles se pueden encontrar en su perfil de Soundcloud. Activo en raves entre amigos y siempre apostando por el Hardcore underground.

Sus influencias vienen de sellos legendarios como Enzyme Records y The Third Movement, culpables de que adquiriera la cultura necesaria para inspirarse a la hora de mezclar.
