Originally founded in the late 90's, Hardstep Records primarily made and distributed Electronic Dance Music. Based in Oxnard,California Hardstep produced records which gained popularity world wide. In 2006 the founder of Hardstep Vince Serrano, gave his life to the Lord. Soon after, with a vision to use Hardstep as a platform to glorify the Lord and produce inspirational uplifting music, Hardstep Records was back. In 2010 Hardstep released the mix tape "Change Your Life Music". 

With a new focus on hip hop Change Your Life Music received national acclaim by bringing together hip hop artists LightningCloud, Bizzle, and more. In 2011 Hardstep released The Rein4cements mix tape "Illuminated". This highly anticipated mixtape featured crowd favorite tracks such as Grace and Mercy and Supernatural ft. Priceless. In 2012 Hardstep released "Out of Darkness". 

The long awaited Priceless mix tape proved that Hardstep could expand its reach to more than just hip hop but could reach the r&b market as well. In 2013 Hardstep released the Leonti produced album "The Redemption Project". This dance hip hop hybrid, brings an original twist to the sound Hardstep started with. Featuring Hardstep artists The Rein4cements,SISY,Priceless and Olivia Rockell along with Red Cloud, Jordan Lara, Revolutionary, and Bree Kay The Redemption Project is sure to set bars in Christian Music. 

In just a short time Hardstep Records has established itself as a label to look out for. Now redeemed for the Glory of the Lord, listeners can be sure that every Hardstep project will Go Hard or Go Home!
