Off Limits - New Year Set

The Mechanical Species project was created by Dahni Strauss in 2012, initially greatly inspired by the old school sound of Infected Mushroom, Glowing Flame and Peak Records, and even classical music. Fused with various elements from all of his musical journeys, the common theme of his productions today is the attempt to evoke a strong sense of story. Non-verbal tales without linear messages. A story where the need for explanation is extinguished, attempting of temporarily stopping the mind from its constant interpretation of meaning. Synthesis is something heavily entertained in his creation and he's currently exploring the deep audionomic space of wavetable synthesis, preferably combined with frequency modulation. This 'December Goa Adventures' mix was made and inspired during fun times together with the crew of his home label Forestdelic in India!

Discovering the electronic music scene in 1994, and the world of synthesizers, Ralph founded his first project, RASTALIENS, together with his friend Jay, releasing 3 albums and countless singles & VAs on major labels worldwide. In 2003 Ralph started his own projects as well, one of them known as BRAINCELL, with 7 albums and about 60 releases on compilations and EPs so far. The latest double album came out on Nano Records called GAIA, representing 2 of his projects together. BraininSpace is a psytrance project founded in 2018 by by two friends, Jorge Santos and Sandro Viegas. They've known each other since high school and when they discovered psytrance, they were so fascinated by its surroundings and the feeling it provides that one day they tried to make a joke and an attempt. The result was not too good, but their production addiction hasn't changed since that day. Today, their music is inspired by the combination of analogue, digital and sci-fi sounds in a fun and exciting way! This set contains their new EP "Psystation" which will be out in early 2022!

Thanasis Kazanidis is a Greek Artist with a lot of experience in the music scene, as a professional darbuka artist too, and a lot of passion for tasting and cooking new things. In Focus with us is Portuguese artist Psilocybe Project who burst into the scene with debut album 'Brave New World', titled after Aldous Huxley's cult-prophetic novel, followed by the messages of his next album 'We Are All Creators' and lastly in 2018 'Inside Your Brain', has been has been busy creating in his studio for the past two years, pouring our psy music that knows no subgenre limitations. In this edition we can listen to a mix where he's showcasing some of his recent productions in a journey through three vibes – Psilocybe Project, when sun invites you to play.

UNI is a Psychedelic Trance project from Japan by Yasunori Matsuda & Yamazaki Yasushi that is active since 1996. Started music production influenced by Goa Trance, their style includes impressive melodies and Japanese style story. Currently produced by Yasunori as solo, UNI has various releases on Future Music Records, BMSS Records, Blue Tunes Records, Nano Records, and Matsuri Digital. UNI's style represents a worldview with a unique story that mixes old-school taste with striking melodies and fat, groovy new sounds.
