This is a short recording demonstrating the sound of a Melodium 75A dynamic microphone. This is the same style of microphone that was used on some of Django Reinhardts recording sessions back in the 1940's. The guitar used on both tracks is a 1944 Epiphone Zenith Archtop, the bass is a 1953 King Mortone with gut strings. Both the bass and guitar tracks were recorded using this mic into Logic Pro X via a Universal Audio Apollo Interface.
