Being a somewhat radical person when it comes to vouching for values such as the right of self expression, establishment of safer spaces and FLINTA visibility in the scene. On the other hand, being a radical and passionate person stands and falls with the softest part of any human – the inner self and all of its emotions; things that the movement advocates for open disclosure.  
On the musical side of the coin, Radical Softness immediately evokes a sense of warmth and force at the same time, with powerful raw rhythmic patterns that go hand in hand with mellow synths. Spanning right across the country which is nothing short of impressive for this dedicated young artist. Additionally, OISINOK is set to make his international debut in Ibiza for Reboot's Outset Festival at Eden Ibiza alongside blk. at the end of May.

With a style and sound that is entrenched in driving, murky techno territory he finds himself firing from all cylinders with this beefy recording. OISINOK takes no prisoners with this hour of power as he includes a variety of pacey kicks, sharp cuts and eerie synths throughout with a range of tracks from Undivulged, Alberto Tolo, Erik Burka, Infiltrator, Zisko and more. Kas:st is the French Parisian duo, owners of Flyance Records.

Their artistic universe fluctuates between hypnotic rhythms, dark and mind-blowing emotions, constantly looking to reach the “mental” aspect that they love in modern techno and in which they identify themselves with.
Following this vision, they have released in November on their own label, the first chapter of a substantial project entitled “Dysphoria I Euphoria”: 2 double EPs with 4 original tracks and 4 remixes on each one. Thus, they have surrounded themselves with artists closed to their musical style : Shlømo and AWB from Taapion Records, Anetha, Blocaus’parties resident, Detroit’s legend Luke Hess, English artists Setaoc Mass and Deepbass, Re:Axis - Monocline Records label owner, and HVL, the resident of BASSIANI’s parties in Georgia.
Following next : releases on Parisian’s label Blocaus Series and Taapion in early 2017.

My Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, originally aired Aug 2018. Here it is without the radio drops.

I’m usually not much of a preplanned mix person, I massively prefer playing to a crowd and interacting with the atmosphere. Combine that with the extremely not insignificant fact that this is one of the most important and longest running mix series around, this was quite a challenge!

I spent a long time gathering these 40 songs and playing with the arrangement (even made a couple new edits). I included songs that have been staples in my sets, plus old favorites from before I was a DJ. Eternal shouts to Nathan Micay, Aurora Halal, Overmono, E-Talking and Koehler for letting me include your dope as hell unreleased new music (plus two unreleased songs from myself). 

The last song is by Oakland band Them Are Us Too and this mix is dedicated to those who lost their lives in a diy music space a year and a half ago. Your music and love lives on. FUCK technocrat capitalist greed in the bay. One of Ghost Ship’s spiritual predecessors, Ghost Town in Oakland, was one of the first gigs I ever played, back in 2011 right around the time when I was realizing that I loved making music and DJing. 

If someone told me then that I’d eventually make an Essential Mix and be touring around the world, I’d be incredulously curious to see just how that would unfold. It’s been wild. Thank you to everyone who has listened and danced with me since then.

Being classically trained since his early childhood, he started writing and producing electronic pop music at the age of 11, later transitioning into techno in 2017.
