The song is inspired by the early Nightmares On Wax. It is the first track I finished recently with my new MPC.

The song is based on the rhythmic feeling of Lou Donaldson's "Who's Making Love". The cheesy organ sound was made with an ARP Odyssey synthesizer.

A bit different than my usual tracks. The original beat had already collected a bit of dust. I recently finished it after playing around with some samples and adding a simple synth phrase.

I started working on this track with a little synth bass sequence but then I liked an upright acoustic bass much better. The cornet was added rather lately in the process.

This one is inspired by early 90s Hip-Hop, in particular by Gang Starr's album "Step in the Arena".

Sit Back

This track features a little synth bass line that I made with my ARP Odyssey. I tried to achieve an overall Lo-Fi feeling. So, the bass sound has been heavily treated with some effects.

This track features a bass line made with my ARP Odyssey synth. I tried to achieve an overall Boom Bap feeling. In then end, it went more into the direction of 70s Disco Funk.

Instrumental Hip-Hop. I am sharing tracks produced in my living room. Hope you enjoy them. I started making music with synthesizers and computers about 25 years ago. After a long break, I resumed my musical adventure in 2022. Main influences for my music are 90s Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Jazz, and Funk.

Main equipment: Akai MPC One+, Logic Pro, ARP Odyssey.
