I picked a sad part, slowed it down, did some EQ and layering. Visually, I wanted my tracks to look like paint lines: three thick ones and a dotted fourth.

The instructions for this Disquiet Junto challenge were to 
1.) Choose three vowels based on the roll of one die
2.) Sing three tones for 10 seconds, each using one of the three vowels
3.) Use those 10 second samples to create a vocal drone.

There are two voices on this track for each vowel: C. Hodges and C. Reider
We chose three frequencies that caused interference beating http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beat_%28acoustics%29
The three frequencies were 135, 147 and 158 Hz.

For some reason it was really hard to match pitch while listening to a sine tone and singing along with it.  

There are no effects used at all on this track, it's just the three ten second tracks looped and faded in and out.
