Home marks the second release from Harmony Romsloe and her band, following her 2023 release of Snakeskin, holding a different kind of vulnerability. 

Home was written from the depths of confusion and loneliness. It tells a story of home being a place of turmoil and conflict, rather than a place of warmth and comfort. 

Written in the infamous year of 2020, this song is Romsloe’s answer to making art that she needed.

The song starts soft, quiet, and beautiful, building to something teetering on the edge of anger. It draws you in with the magic of piano and harmonies, and keeps you there with bass, drums, and heartbreaking vocals hard to turn away from.

Home is a stunning showcase of Romsloe’s range and rawness. The song sounds as if you are sitting right next to her singing this in her bedroom.

The goal with Home is to reach the people who know this definition of it. To let it sit there with them as a reminder that they are not alone.
