I Miss You

Beginning of a New Day

My harp has been my companion for many years, accompanying me to university and then to Berlin where I was able to support myself through drama school busking on the streets and in restaurants, cafes and bars. My harp very nearly ended its life in a fire and was tossed on a heap of debris by the firemen who didn't recognise what it was. Fortunately it was rescued and it was renovated in a small harp workshop in the mountains east of Berlin. It bears some scars but sounds sweeter than before.

After leaving Berlin, I continued to busk and play gigs around Europe, adding teaching to my repertoire along the way.

Me and my harp are now based in the UK where I regularly perform and teach.

One thing stands out from all the years I have been playing- the people listening have always said how moving the harp is to listen to and how healing its sound is.
