Beautifully written and read. I came to this place after searching your name on Facebook because I heard your TedTalk about the single story. I admit quite grudgingly that I am guilty of only having and believing a single story about India. I saw a documentary about a poor woman who was brutally raped on a bus by three men and left to die. She was going to be a doctor. I had nightmares for weeks and I have maintained a cold and unkind inner thought toward India ever since. This is my only story of India. After seeing you speak, I have decided to find more stories of India. I have decided to root out as many of the single stories in my life as I can. Thank you. You have changed me.
