Sound Transitions is back with another excellent EP for your listening enjoyment. This one comes to us compliments of Bristol's own Quelaan in the form of the Glass Projections EP. It's six tracks of deeply groovy house filled with soulful chords, sliced vocal samples, and enough low end to rattle any big room.

Comprised of three originals and three inventive remixes from Roaming Data, Hannd, and Phasmid, the Glass Projections EP is a snapshot of where house music is right now and where it may be headed in the future. While there are certainly nods to the past (especially in some of the excellently chopped vocal samples used), the music here is forward-thinking, interesting, and timeless. Quelaan creates a dark, steamy world that is surely informed by our own, but has the patina of something new, original, and exciting. This one is a must-have.
