The monthly "Clen's List" playlists comes from the great music that comes across on Soundcloud each month. Of course this wouldn't be possible without the work of all the producers, reposters, promoters, and suggestions from others, so thanks and big up to everyone out there sharing and producing these sounds.

Another goal of these lists is to promote the artists producing the tunes. There are some really incredible less known productions that float around and just don't wind up in the "spotlight". By including these productions in the lists, hopefully these great works get their time in the spotlight.

P.S. Overtime the lists lose tracks that were originally included. I do not know if this is due to artists removing their tracks from Soundcloud (or the tracks get bought by a record company and then removed), or if there is another reason. I will try to keep these lists as up to date and as close to how they were originally as best as possible. As of February 2014 the original list will be in the bottom of the description.

This is our fourth EP, we are back with various artists, mainly deep house focused. A bench of artist not signed yet on House Running , except Tell, who accepted to remix as well a new artist, Shedbug, from Australia. 
Saints by nite, a young Belgian artist from Ghent, invites us to discover his house universe with warm and sordide tones, TR-505 sounding, in that track called "Ballpark Figures". 
Shedbug, from Australia, who moved us with this track "Captain", very careful, relaxing and melodic production. 
Chinau, a french guy, who offer us "Pacific War", a powerfull track with a certain depth in synthesizers and powerfull 909 drums. 
And finally, from far East, the UFO this fourth EP, Djoiyan from Japan, surprised us with this track "Memories", which starts very minimalist and gradually reveals a classic housy piano chord, very stunning! Enjoy, share and download it!

His style is easily recognizable and is unmatched in the production world.  Furney's latest effort is a 4 track EP, which varies in style, but has some of the deepest samples that you'll ever hear.  "Sunsets", kicks things off in stylish fashion with it's cinematic strings samples, subtle rhodes chords, heavy amen drums, and rolling sub bassline.  Classic Furney vibes on this one.  "Rapid Eye Movement", takes over next with it's scratchy record efx, deep reverberated chords, chugging percussion, and smooth bassline.  The song twists and turns throughout the abyss, while evoking memories and emotions that lye within.  "I'm Known as Danni Around These Parts", is a jazzy Drum & Bass work out that is groovy from beginning to end.  The Amen drums and jazzy chords bring the listener to the break down.  When the drop hits, the bassline takes over and rolls smoothly underneath the layers of musical bliss.  "Not Far Now", finishes off the EP in impressive fashion with it's revolving synth line, swanky horn samples, and booming bassline.  From beginning to end, this EP ranks up there with Furney's best.  Essential!!

Berlin producer and DJ Marc Brauner, half of the Traffic Report duo, signs his first vinyl on Houseum Records with a new and more intimate EP, titled 'Sad But Ambitious'. The German delivers his introspective release with 5 tracks whose musical universe fluctuates between classic House, Breakbeat and Deep House. With this catchy title 'Sad But Ambitious', the EP succeeds in transmitting the musical sensibility of the producer.

The title track of the EP has its name to mark a time in Marc Brauner's life where he felt sad about his life and work situation but still was ambitious enough to keep working on the tracks that are finally getting their release now. It comes with a nostalgic charm invoked by rising pads and classic drums combined with a deep bassline and a tear drop bell melody. It's a melancholic track, which you can both dance and cry too.
