Alex Costa is a simple but very talented guy from Torino Italy! 
In 2005 he started to produce deep- tribal and tech house and made very shortly his first releases on labels like Intacto, Time Has Changed, Variante Music, ToolRoom, Potobolo and many more.

I am very happy to present you his first ep on Takt Records!

Takt Records was founded at the beginning of 2008 by Frederic Berger who is also a part of Kaiserdisco and Andrea Engels the owner BluFin and Yellow Tail Records.
The musical spectre reaches from techhouse up to melodic influenced techno for sure with a right sense for high quality electronic music.

Mauro Picotto's "Joga Bola" gets straight to business with tribal vocals and rolling percussion, keeping the excitement level at an all-time high. A rubber-band bass and even more vocal edits kick everything up a notch.Alex Costa opts for a more dubby approach, spicing things up with live drum edits and frantic cymbals. Enrico Sangiuliano, on the other hand, goes more atmospheric, with lush chords, clever production antics and juicy bass.For those really digging the full vocal, there is handy DJ Tool, for instant gratification.

Australian Kristin Velvet now calls Berlin home, heading up the Arms & Legs label alongside owners Daniel Steinberg and Nils Ohrmann.

Kristin has been involved in the music industry in a variety of roles, from running events and DJing in Tokyo, to managing the quality rock label Domino Records based in the UK, proving her pedigree and musical acumen. Her track productions have also garnered support from names such as Maya Jane Coles, Adam Beyer and Dave Clarke amongst others, which is some seal of approvals to project her forward.

Swedish doyen and H-Productions bossman Cari Lekebusch provides two remixes on this great EP to really push it to new heights. An artist that should need no introduction, Cari has released on imprints like Kombination Research, Mote-Evolver, Sleaze and fellow Swede stable Drumcode.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the second remix of “Friday the 12th” which jumps in with a funky, jackin’ beat. Keeping a low key and understated groove, this is a prime example of less is more. Of course with any Lekebusch jam of late, it packs a punch that will test any sound system while firmly aimed at the dance floor, confidently blending a warm-up vibe with peak time dexterity.

AL075 - Twist and Bend it EP out now on Arms & Legs


Berlin producer Harry Axt entered the club fray with a succession of EPs on Jan Driver's Grand Petrol Recordings nearly a decade ago. Over the ensuing years, Axt’s stature has grown as he’s released on renowned labels such as Leftroom, Snork Enterprises, Overdrive and AFU Limited. Dropping a split 12" with Siriusmo on the aforementioned Grand Petrol, 

Axt has  remixed luminaries like Christopher Just, Broombeck, The Horrorist and Miro Pajic. More recently reworking classic rave anthems by Yves de Ruyter and Cherry Moon Trax on fabled Belgian techno bastion Bonzai Records. 

Axt’s bourgeoning discography piqued the interest of many of the foremost figures in electronic music. Harry Axt cuts have been heavily supported by luminaries such as Adam Beyer, Miss Kittin & Seth Troxler while his track ‘Deliberately Selected’ featured on Hot Chip’s Bugged Out compilation. 

This isn’t monotonous militant techno but rather techno bursting with genuine charisma. Deceptively subtle and immediately engaging,
