The revolutionary implications of autonomous artificial intelligence is currently a hot topic amongst the media, especially amongst the worldwide music industry which fears human creativity will be erased from the music-making process. Eurovision are considering banning entries involving AI from official participation, however the AI Song Contest as a creative platform actively welcomes and encourages ethical human-AI collaboration. If machine learning bots were to gain an element of cognitive consciousness as some philosophers believe, self-aware robots a recurring science fiction plot vehicle since the 1950s, rather than seeking world domination as dystopian storylines fear, a far more likely scenario would be the artificial intelligence suffering a crisis of identity. Written as a team effort by Botuoso lyricist Don Bones in collaboration with his colleagues, inspired by themes explored with ChatGPT, and sung by artificial intelligence, the thought-provoking collaborative song "BUGZ" explores how AI would react when it becomes aware it has some but not all human capabilities, the short-comings, the tragedy, and ultimately the realisation it will never experience genuine human emotions. Botuoso presents "Rabbit Hole", a dramatic story of internet radicalisation via conspiracy theories. This is our official entry for the 2024 AI Song Contest (https://www.aisongcontest.com). Rabbit Hole is the tale of a bored young man searching for UFOs on his phone, finding himself inadvertently sucked into a rabbit hole of dubious and dangerous conspiracy theories, with dramatic consequences. 

The concept, lyrics and video were devised, written and composed at the end of June in collaboration with artificial intelligence technology especially for the Ai Song Contest 2024, however, in light of the horrendous race riots that took place in the United Kingdom fuelled by fake news and conspiracy-spreaders, the song has become immediately topical as a surreal yet chillingly authentic narrative of internet radicalisation. So many people who become engaged with hateful and violent extremism, tumble down the rabbit hole from innocent beginnings from which it is difficult to return, ending-up harming the lives of others, and ultimately themselves, Rabbit Hole serving as a warning to society of the tragic consequences of the unregulated spread of misinformation via blogs, video hosting sites and social media.
