It will take me months and maybe years to fully tell the story of my love affair with the burger and how it saved me from ruin. I can say I love the burger as much as any food, and trust me I've had a lot of food. I talk about the very beginning of my relationship. I talk about how the crew that included Chef Alan Harding opened the Gowanus Yacht Club and Beer Garden and I started cooking burgers there, and how over the year my relationship with burgers has grown and matured first into Schnack the burger joint that Alan created in Red Hook Brooklyn.
