For the very first time we present to you OFFBEAT. The new music platform, hosting only....platforms! Never to be done before we knew we had to choose wisely, and to launch this very special series, we chose 'Anomaly' a radio station dedicated to one goal, creating an audio visual experience to its audience and to present people with a unique and unheard sound. Accompanied with incredible contemporary and electric artwork covers from the talented artist Panthera Krause. From the very first episode they released, with David Mayer and posting from 'Antartica' we knew this mystery station was going to move and shake things up. 14 episodes later with favourites from the likes of Aaron, Armonica and Budakid they have definitely cemented themselves amongst the top music platforms. And so, here you have it, the very sound of: Anomaly. Straight from Antarcia, via Sydney to you ;)

Anomaly (@theanomalyradio) is a cultivation of deep electronic music paired with finely curated graphic design to help listeners navigate through the beautiful obscurities of electronic melodies. It is music and melodies by the community, for the community.

The mixes showcase the respective style of each DJ, while contributing to the surreality that is Anomaly. The music is complemented by the dynamic visuals of Leipzig talent - Panthera Krause.
From the beginning, the overarching goal for Anomaly was to provide an audio visual experience to its audience and to present people with a unique and unheard of sound; accompanied by contemporary and eclectic graphic design.

The internet became a real place on 02.07. The virtual and individually immersive brand of Anomaly Radio materialised into the reality of the Sisyphos dancefloor. From 8am to 10pm the Berlin sun shone, the obscure melodies played and the kinetic bodies moved. We were lucky to record 10 out of the 16 hours of music from the day. 

Enticing us to create an online space that infuses the tangible with the digital; Anomaly Live. A place where we will release exclusive sets from Anomaly takeovers or shows from around the world. AL will also share recordings from our favourite artists at clubs and festivals. 

Installment #1 is courtesy of Anomaly Radio co-founder, Harry Hooper. (nothing like nepotism to get balls rolling). 3 dynamic hours of deep house coolly spun with indie dance and melodic techno. We’re broadcasting the humble eccentricity that is Sisyphos through Anomaly air waves.

In the live recording of your life, there are ups (crescendos) and there are downs (diminuendos). They are not mutually exclusive or exclusively mutual; one doesn’t exist without the other. To find harmony in the spaces between is what makes a full life. 

In the Anomaly Live recording from Break Festival 24-26.03, there are crescendos (ups) and there are diminuendos (downs). Anomaly’s own Harry Hooper & Nick Berry have found melody in the spaces between; making it a lively 2 hour set.
