Already in the midsixties all those noises coming from electric guitars, organs and drums fascinated the young German Harald Nies. Feeling that making music became more and more important for him he finally bought himself an electric guitar that he still had to amplify through an old tube-driven radio. At the age of 15 he founded his first school band by the name of "Guul" which being in the tradition of German Krautrockgiants like Eloy, Nektar, Jane or Kraan started rocking along with its first musical programme.
Many years and bands later, after a bunch of studioproductions and a bone-breaking tour with the American hardrockers "Molly Hatchet" Harald sadly became aware that he did not feel at home anymore in hard rock and the musical mainstream. Wanting to go back to those roots that since his early days always had lain in spirituality he produced in the years to come ten more esoterically orientated CDs under the project name of 'Sahurê Music' in his home studio. His songs were then a lot less guitar-orientated but filled more with flowing synthesizerpads, interesting sampled sounds and an unusual instrumentation created in the computer.
It happened in the spring of 2002 that he met again his old friend, the 'space-guitarist' Klaus COSMIC HOFFMANN-Hoock (MIND OVER MATTER) whom he knew from those wild Krautrock-days back in the 70s when musical trips into space seemed to be a common affair. Through spontaneous jamsessions with him Harald Nies slowly discovered again his old love for his electric guitar and those magnificent guitar effectboxes producing all those magical noises he nearly seemed to have forgotten. Being deeply inspired by that experience he started producing his new CD 'Space is everywhere' where he blends fine computermade electronic music with his fiery rockguitar to a unique, living musical entity.
