This is not an album, but my audio diary of the 2022 year. 

It was the first contact with a real war, a terrible regime, endless shame, forced emigration, lost stability, despair, betrayal, and the death of a close friend. 

At the same time, there was help, support, hope, new friends, new cultures, and a new world. 

First Contact is a compilation of my recordings made throughout the year in three different countries with the only synthesizer I had with me, the Buchla 208c. 

All pieces were played live, and one take was recorded; there are melodic sequences, raw sketches, generative patches, and concert fragments; all these are retrospective and a representation of my 2022 feelings and memories.
