I find such energy in the music and gotta say Acid Tekno (especially has been at the core of some of the craziest dance floors I've been a part of.

Since becoming a part of the Tekno Mulisha collective based in Melbourne, I've had the chance to crank out many awesome sets that will stay with me for life.
From enormous warehouse's to epic inner city parks these guys done it all. For me simply the best true underground parties we have............  By a longshot.

Harry Blotter has been a familiar face throughout Melbourne's vast electronic music scene since 2003. Now a well established Dj across multiple styles currently approaching his 23rd year performing across Melbourne &  Australia.

2013 saw him make the jump from Label Dj to Label Manager taking control of Highly Evolved Music from a longtime friend. He remains the driving force behind the label, currently overseeing their 28th Release. Continually focussed on releasing the finest unheard Psytrance, Prog & Techno bursting out from Melbourne's never ending pool of hugely talented underground producers.

Determine to join his many peers putting out killer productions, the last two years have seen him sharpening his own techniques almost daily. 2016 saw Harry release his first 2 original tracks. Expect many more over the coming months before the dynamic debut of both his Techno & Psytrance Lives Sets during 2017.

A proud product of the Vinyl era, Harry still holds a keen interest in scratching and turntablizm. Over the years contributing cuts & performing alongside a small number of credible Hip Hop artists. With a love of Vinyl that still burns bright to this day his collection of 2000+ records is somewhat of a time capsule. Encompassing loads of rare Techno, Acid, Hip Hop, Trance, DnB, Psy Trance & more.

Harry has a keen interest in how styles of music were created and the way they evolve over time. Easily Spending 1000's of hrs in local Record Stores over the years, he has just returned from his third trip across Europe in the search of new sounds while researching his passion. Using this inspiration to build on his own Techno and PsyTrance sets to share with crowds at home.

Playing across three decks and a Pioneer RMX-1000 FX unit Harry layers & manipulate his music in his own unique way. Playing instinctively he lets the moment dictate the direction his sounds will go. Always striving to showcase only the best fresh sounds 7 artists. In turn continuing his mission to help music evolve and grow for the coming generations.

Mirroring the likeness between day and night, people are instinctively drawn to Harry's unique intuitive style. Here's my set from 1 to 2 am. Played a little bit of everything, starting out with a couple of my favourite Brain Recordings traxx then moving through Skull Tunes. Next stop Stay Up for Ever and ending with a manic array of thumping Techno. All Mixed off vinyl, I was stoked to smash out all this stuff to a bunch of awesome like minded people.

"From Melbourne with Love"  Xmas / NYE 2014 warmup mixed by Harry Blotter

Sup guys hope your all good. 

As we say so long to another awesome summer i thought i'd knock out a more stripped back and hypnotic mix. Starting at 121bpm this one has more of a after party or background sound. Sorta my interpretation of chilled set. 
Probably a little uptempo and bassy to be called a real "Chill Set" by the purists. I love listening to the more downtempo stuff when the time is right, but when it comes to mixing and sourcing tunes myself this is about as cruisey as i can go before i start getting board.

As always over about 2.5 hours we got a huge cross selection of artists from every corner of the globe. Feedback especially welcomed on this type of sound. 
After a bit of a rest the last couple of Months i got some awesome gigs coming up. Most notably probably Maitreya Festival and Drumatix. Hope to see u guys out somewhere soon.

Hey guys, Here is my closing set from this years edition of Sunshine Gathering in Melbourne, Australia.

Once again the Contact High crew delivered a really awesome event.
It was great to see the one and only Electric Universe again who as expected played a stellar set that was enjoyed by all.

Once again I was tasked with closing the night.  Following on from EU I wanted to keep the energy levels high. The first hour was stacked with Full on Psytrance before venturing towards a more Foresty sound towards the end.

Hey guys. Here's my 7 - 9 closing set @ Tekno Mulisha's epic 7th Bday Warehouse party.
The night saw 3 awesome warehouse rooms absolutely jumping from start to end. 

All the tracks mixed straight off the Wax, I decided i would ease off the gas a little and try wind back the clock to some of the most timeless Acid & Techno Bombs from the last 20ish years. We navigate through some hugely recognizable tracks and artists here while slowly moving the pace back and forth to reign in the Daylight : )
Over the last 15 years I've seen most of these tracks smashing Melbourne's dancefloor's time and time again by a lot of the local heroes who shaped my sound today. 
The amount of old, new & upcoming talent in Melbourne has always been overflowing and i think for a long time has kept us close to the forefront of Electronic music.
My goal was to leave you with a mental picture from Melbourne's perspective of a timeless era of classic electronic music. 

Towards the end of the set there's really short silence due power dropping out. I had mega fun smashing this one out.  Hope you enjoy Guys.

Here's something on more of a Deep House tip here I thought I'd do a re-recording of my set @ Doesn't Matter on May 3rd. By now most people know your always gonna get a great night of high quality, intelligent music at Doesn't Matter. As expected this night was no different. It was my first time playing with these guys, I played last closing the Kitchen room following MortisVille.

I tried to keep the mad energy flowing and played a somewhat hypnotic set mainly treading around what most would probably call deep House. Considering i was on last i kept it melodic and even a little jazzy in parts.
I had mega fun jamming this out and think it went down a treat.
All in all it was another great night. Two smiling thumbs up for the Doesn't Matter Crew, thanks for having me.

JFX Dj Set - "Enigma "Hard Trance Takeover"  Sun Temple - Esoteric 2024

Since 2017, Esoteric has become a staple on the Australian festival calendar. Held over the Labour Day weekend, the event attracts over 7000 people showcasing Music, Art & Workshops across 7 Stages.

2024 was my 6th year performing on the Ascension Stage and It's always one of the highlights of my year. Big Thanks to Mike and his extended team for the incredible job they do consistently presenting us with quality artists and world class stage production. 

Like most years, Saturday's Psytrance line up was huge. Magik kicked off the evening followed by Hypnocoustics, Braincell, Scorb, Banjhaks, Farebi Jalebi, Farseer, Wiser with myself and Megapixel welcoming the morning.

It was a real thrill playing the Sunrise Set after such an epic night of tunes.  
Following a truly mind bending set from Wiser, I kicked off with a track from Lunarave giving the crowd a much needed moment to reset and catch their breath. From there I continued with a selection of psychedelic tunes, slowly increasing the energy to peak just as daylight was poking over the horizon.
Nearing the end of my set I wanted to include a Space Tribe track as a small tribute to the great man before finishing with something from his long time collaborator the one & only Electric Universe.

I had a blast playing my set. Big Shout Out to everyone that was still awake rocking through the morning after such a hot day.

Harry Blotter Resonant Frequency Show Kiss Fm July 2019 Hb Interview Cut

Last weekend Mindhertz dropped into the PBS studio's to drop a special live set on "The BPM Show" with Simon Sez.

Dan is no stranger to the Australian Psychedelic scene. From the Yarra Valley in Victoria. He was first introduced into the Aussie Doof Community in 2002, becoming instantly hooked by the outdoor sound.

In 2005 he started writing his own brand of slamming full on 150 bpm melodic Psy/Goa Trance under the name Mindhertz. 
His music is best described as a true trance experience with no stop/start bullshit. Full power from start to finish with deep driving baselines, twisted melody's and spooky atmospheres with a unique energetic edge.

This set features some all new material from his upcoming E.P "For Outdoor use Vol. 2" which will be out soon on Melbourne's Highly Evolved Music.

Harry Blotter has been a familiar face throughout the Melbourne electronic music scene since 2003.  Now a well established Dj across multiple styles currently in his 23rd year performing throughout Australia.

2013 saw him make the jump from Label Dj  to Label Manager taking control of Highly Evolved Music from a longtime friend. He remains the driving force behind the label, currently overseeing their 28th Release. Continually focussed on releasing the finest unheard Psytrance, Prog & Techno bursting out from Melbourne's never ending pool of hugely talented underground producers. 

Determine to join his many peers putting out killer productions, the last two years have seen him sharpening his own techniques almost daily. 2016 saw Harry release his first 2 original tracks.  Expect many more over the coming months before the dynamic debut of both his Techno & Psytrance Lives Sets during 2017.


A proud product of the Vinyl era, Harry still holds a keen interest in scratching and turntablizm. Over the years  contributing cuts & performing alongside a small number of credible Hip Hop artists.  With a love of Vinyl that still burns bright to this day his collection of 2000+ records is somewhat of a time capsule. Encompassing loads of rare Techno, Acid, Hip Hop, Trance, DnB, Psy Trance & more.

Harry has a keen interest in how styles of music were created and the way they evolve over time. Easily Spending 1000's of hrs in local Record Stores over the years, he has just returned from his third trip across Europe in the search of new sounds while researching his passion. Using this inspiration to build on his own Techno and PsyTrance sets to share with crowds at home.

Playing across three decks and a Pioneer RMX-1000 FX unit Harry layers & manipulate his music in his own unique way. Playing instinctively he lets the moment dictate the direction his sounds will go. Always striving to showcase only the best fresh sounds 7 artists. In turn continuing his mission to help music evolve and grow for the coming generations.

Mirroring the likeness between day and night, people are instinctively drawn to Harry's unique intuitive style.  Driving bass lines, hypnotic melodies and rhythmic percussion are effortlessly interwoven, taking the crowd on an mesmerizing journey. Always giving special attention to the fine art of balancing education & entertainment.  

Most recorded performances find a home on his sound cloud page. Now clocking over 125,000 plays & 20.000 D/l's across around 150 dj sets, mixes and original productions. His dedication has seen him build a truly global fan base. With overseas followers easily accounting for more than half of all time traffic.
