I never really liked this song until I heard Mr Bolt's version, Great version!!!

People who like jazz often like to quote influences like Keith Jarrett or Bill Evans. I'm not interested in that - just to say that in my time I've heard a good few jazz musicians who can successfully "fake it" - this is the real thing. Creative and absorbing.

Jazz Piano

"É Preciso Perdoar" was written by Alcivando Luz and Carlos Coqueijo. João Gilberto recorded it and released it on his 1973 self-titled album known as the "white album" (he has another self-titled album from 1961).

I'm pretty sure he was the first one to record this song. I'm not sure if Alcivando and Coqueijo wrote it specifically for him. It is one of my favorite Gilberto recordings, and that's saying a lot.

This here is my homemade attempt at playing this beautiful number. I hope you dig it.
