For the first 2024 release, Pakate returns to where everything began: New York. It's a big Brooklyn affair between our crew regular and Risqué bosses Shahar & Motum, who return to Pakate after their appearance on our 2023 Miami VA teaming up for "Punks In The Back" EP, which includes a remix by UK favourite Casey Spillman (LOCUS).

Hooky echoing vocal samples, fat breakbeat drums, and slung basslines bring the funk to the lead track, a whirlwind of ghetto-laced, driving rhythms and stripped-back grooves. Next, Casey Spillman brings all his London flavourz to the table with a trippy minimal remix featuring elusive synths, shuffling percussion, bumping low-ends, and subtle acid sequences. Closing the package, "Dumbo" - featuring Luquez - is all about shuffling drum patterns and groove-heavy efforts for the ultimate rolling and bumpy terrace-vibes tool.
