It took three days for my nervous system to calm down. Three days to understand I wasn't connected anymore: to my partner, to reality, to myself. Three days of emergency.
Once I understood the immensity of the flashback, it was quickly regulated; but it all began, and spread out, as a result of my lacking understanding of disregulation – while being surrounded by natural beauty: the sun, the hills, the sky, the sunsets, the ocean and it's infinite waves, on Crete.
