This year will see German techno mainstay Stephan Bodzin ready to unleash his next full-length musical vision on the world. Entitled ‘Powers of Ten’, the 10-track album will land in June 2015 on his own Herzblut Recordings and provides another great insight into the melodically rich muscle mind of this modern great.

Says Stephan Bodzin of the LP: ‘Powers of Ten’ has been with me all my life and is named after a book that has been my background hiss, its confusing truth is my only real faith and its infinity shows me its finiteness. The album is about harmonies, melodies, rhythms. It is an homage to Bob Moog, full of techno beats and sounds and space and party and ecstasy and dancing and listening, and crying and feeling. It is a journey, a philosophy of life, a view of the world, a vague perception. It is my wife, my children, my family, my friends, my passion, my enemy, my greatest fulfillment, my fear, my deepest peace, my power, all my love.”

As such, this album is hugely personal and is filled with cerebral messages and well thought out concepts. All this shines through and makes it an all the more engaging listen from start to finish. Kicking off with the spine tingling chords and louche beats of ‘Singularity’ cuts like ‘Lila’ then continue to confirm that Stephan Bodzin has a classical understanding of melody that is way beyond your average.

‘Blue Giant’, ‘Wir’ and ‘Ix’ all manage to be uplifting and thoughtful at the same time as driven and groovy, whilst ‘Birth’ comes on with a hymnal high note, long tailed pads and subtly shifting beats. The ghostly grooves of ‘Zulu’ mark a majestic mid point to the album, which then continues to seduce with spiritual synths and more beautiful melodies on cuts like ‘Odyssee’ as well as the album’s standout title track.

Unfolding coherently and in soothing fashion, this album once again proves that few producers in the modern world have a knack for melody and an ear for sonic ingenuity quite like Stephan Bodzin.

Getreu dem Motto “never change a winning Team” setzte Sabrina Mue auch für Ihr zweites Release auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Lars Moston. Ihre gemeinsame EP “We used to dance” erschien auf WellDone Music.   
Damit feierte die Newcomerin ein wirklich sehr beeindruckendes Debüt, dass bescherte Ihr unter anderem auch die Aufmerksamkeit einiger großer Namen, darunter Claptone, der Ihren Track in seiner berühmten Clapcast-Reihe spielte.
Aktuell arbeitet die sympathische und ehrgeizige Berlinerin eifrig an Ihrem nächsten Karriereschritt und produziert dafür fleißig Solomaterial, wir dürfen also gespannt sein.

The Winter Social is a boutique music festival showcasing a selection of a handful of top quality dance music acts in the idyllic setting of the Kent County Showground in Maidstone, Kent, UK. Presenting their mix for the occasion a duo from UK, Eli & Fur.

Located a stones throw away from London at the beautiful Kent County Showground. The venue captures the great outdoors, and an intimacy among its raw Warehouse space that sets the atmosphere for the one-dayer. The Social is brought together by Saved Records, the independent music label of house and techno DJ Nic Fanciulli.

Recently the organisers dropped the 3rd and final phase for the Winter Social line-up, which looks really promising for true lovers of deeper house and techno. This edition of the festival is bringing longstanding acts, such as Kompakt's head Adam Bayer, Innervision's Ame, the immense Maya Jane Coles, Guy Gerber, who's Rumors series in Ibiza got great appreciations this summer, Holland's finest Joris Voorn.

Alongside the latter, a few of names, rising to it's worldwide recognition, icluding UK's Eli & Fur. Since breaking onto the scene in 2012, Eli & Fur are known for their captivating sets, which have seen the duo playing next to the likes of Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82 and Dusky. To know what to be expected, the ladies brought together a strong party kicking bouncing mix, that we are happy to share.

After roaming awhile, he saw something shiny on another road, and he went to explore. Eventually he found his way back - and when he did the fog had lifted and the path was clear.
