One of progressive trance scene's finest talents: Van Yorge & Spherical Bloom makes his much awaited debut on White Soho with the sublime 'Alone Tonight'. 

The original is a super sumptuous slice of warm, emotive and uplifting progressive trance. With its cool deep bass rumble, energizing piano chords and melodic vibe throughout, Alone Tonight is the perfect recipe to give you that warm feeling inside.

On the first remix duty we employ man of the moment Sollito, who serves up an equally tasty alternative. That deliver a mix that encapsulates the essence of the original perfectly, while injecting some extra character with their unique sound.

Second remix comes from Oleg Farrier,  he steps up to the plate and do what he does best. Injecting that lush Oleg Farrier sound into the mix, yet still encapsulating the much loved energy of the original.

MaHi and I have been making music for several years now and we honestly have never been so excited to release a track as much as this one. 

A little backstory to the track:

About a year ago, Aaron (MaHi) invited me over. He was in the studio writing some tunes and I asked him to show me what he's been working on. He showed me a track that had this main melody in it and I COULD NOT GET ENOUGH. I kept asking him to replay it because it was so beautiful and just comforts the ears. I asked him if he could send me the file so we could collab on it. We then from there transformed the song into what it is now; Beautiful Life. 

We decided the title "Beautiful Life", because we both not only believe but know life is Beautiful. We take it for granted every day, yet sometimes need to take a step back and realize the different paths, different opportunities, and different shades of life.

Makaseo returns to Emergent Music once again with two more interestingly dynamic productions, this time at our Cities imprint with his well-formed ‘Aeroga EP’.

The title track ‘Aeroga’ begins with nicely textured drums, a chunky snare and a fat, rounded bassline riff which provides a great drive and energy amongst soft, silky vocal chops and exciting arpeggios during its intro section. During the suspenseful break, new layers in the arpeggiated sequence are revealed with tantalizing piano sprinkles before a thick, full lead sound takes centre stage in the climax. ‘Ritual’ features strong, metallic call-and-response bass patterns and complimentary beeps for groove enhancement, whilst euphoric strings and emotive pluck ostinatos paint the breakdown and main section a nostalgic, yearning shade of sunset orange.

Delivering his exceptional standards of production in a more clubby format is Makaseo with the ‘Aeroga EP’.

SICK INDIVIDUALS are known for electrifying main stages around the globe with their progressive house and electro anthems. After multiple releases with labels like Revealed, Axone, Spinnin' and Armada, SICK INDIVIDUALS are now turning their songwriting skills up a notch, and testing deeper waters in the melodic house territory with their new single, “People I Love”, their first single for Thrive Music.

Bringing a glitchy blissfulness to the Shores core sound is Lesh with his 'Pulsewave EP'.

The title track 'Pulsewave' begins with a deep bassline and interesting glitched percussion, built on a simple, floaty piano line and light synth touches. Striking a satisfying balance between organic and synthetic textures whilst playing on love-felt, melancholic themes makes for a bittersweet and effective contrast in sounds. 'Sinecloud' rides along a sexier note, with seductive chords and funky, rhythmic stabs creating a sophisticated and elegant auditory experience. Soft, enveloping pads enhance the light nature of this bright and breezy number along with a natural chorded piano line and echoing sine atmosphere.

Showing immense talent and individuality in composing loved-up, light-hearted prog with a captivating mood is Lesh with the 'Pulsewave EP'.

Australian producer South Pole brings us an exceptional body of work here in the form of the Keep Your Heart LP.

Starting off with the epic, soundtrack-inspired title track 'Keep Your Heart' which exudes honest emotion and power with crashing drums and dramatic orchestral strings, things are quickly set in to dance music fashion with the laid back 4x4 beats of 'Beneath Our Starlit Sky' and the chirpy, funky sounds of 'Till The Dawn'. 'Meteora' takes things back down with smooth, airy vocal parts and silky, chorded synths and with extra attention to detail on dynamic percussion, 'Cloudburst' shows Sam's ability to craft constantly-enveloping, soundscapy progressive. Hitting a mid-way point in a sophisticated fashion is 'Holding You' which features cool, twangy picked guitar melodies and warm synth motifs. 'No One But You' is sharp and tightly-produced with echoing vocal cries that provide the outer coating for euphoric guitar lines and tantalising, balearic-style plucked melodies. Raising the tempo once more is 'One Last Glimpse' which plays on melancholic melodic themes and blows them up in to epic proportions with wide, reverberant musical layers and chunky, driving drums. Further utilising acoustic instruments amongst traditionally electronic elements in 'Shine', a blissfully positive atmosphere is created with a great "hands in the air" main section. Rounding off this unique artist's stunning LP is the closing track 'Ascension' which tugs on bittersweet emotions with captivating "wah wah" guitar parts and thick chords along with punchy drums and interesting arpeggios and electro-style wobbly FX.
 
The sunshine-ridden melodies of South Pole's 'Keep Your Heart LP' will no doubt be a winner amongst fans of summer-sounding progressive and colourfully-arranged dance music.
