I really enjoyed the energy and emotion paired with Reggie's humorous stage presence.  Shortly into the song, he started really grooving to the beat and pausing for solos from his imaginary band.  I started really wanting to hear what his band might have been doing, so I created this version, using my best educated guesses.  Enjoy :)

I decided to go for an Action/Adventure/Drama movie-trailer type feel.  I decided on 3 or 4 chords that I liked, wrote out a lead sheet with a couple orchestration ideas and fleshed it out as I went along.  All the patches are from the Yamaha MOTIF ES8.

Comedy Bang Bang 426 Accompanied Highlights

This is a new take on a great little tune by Jeff B. Davis.  Over the past few weeks I got interested in learning a bit about arranging in the barbershop style and figured I'd use this song for my first try.  I'm mostly happy with how the arrangement came out -- not really happy at all with my own singing ;-) Maybe I can get someone else to record it at some point.
