[Chiptunes = WIN Special] - JammerC64 - Boileroom \m|♥|m/

Another track from my upcoming album Return to Aloha. Part of the album is all about redoing tracks from the first album in the series to a style that fits in with the newer albums in the series.  This one was honestly one of the hardest to figure out what to do with! I'm happy with the result, though. Keen listeners or long time listeners might notice the instruments from Night Talk (Nightbridge) and the melody from Lost Girl (Return to Aloha) which was a reprise of Night Talk. The song ends with Lost Girl and Night Talk, before it dissipates into the stars.
For those with a passing interest in the 'lore' behind the albums, this is the love theme for Capel (the derpy medic protag) and her on-again-off-again love interest, Haze. An ex-pilot turned junker. I hope things can work out for them someday.

When I Met You (I wasn't Scared Anymore)

A tribute to my grandfather, who died exactly one year ago on this day (June 4th, 2018). The man meant the world to me, and still does. His positivity, optimism and compassion for others, his creative vision and drive, it all means a lot to me. And he passed that torch down to me.

Gramps, I'm still truckin' along like I said I would. I hope you see this.

I wanted to go for a much more authentic Citypop sound. I think I'm getting there... Citypop is my happy place. No matter what, it's a genre that keeps me going, so I had to give it a shot.
