In this HAA “Your Harvard: Canada" event, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland AB '90, Minister of International Trade and Member of Parliament (University-Rosedale), Ann Blair AB '84, Carl H. Pforzheimer University Professor, and Rahul Mehrotra MAUD '87, Professor of Urban Design and Planning, Harvard Graduate School of Design, take part in an interactive discussion. They explore the role of collection and curation and how we might transcend the boundaries of culture and time to shape the future of knowledge in a digital world. This lively dialogue also examines what perpetuity means, whether information is more or less fragile now, and what the role of preservation is in the context of a multi-channel world where present-day cultural and historical artifacts may be ephemeral.
