Stepping up for our twentieth release with the Vantaj EP, we have a newcomer to the label by the name of Jungle Rootz. We start with the title track 'Vantaj' coming in militant and wobbly, followed by the deep, squelchy sounds of 'Platter' which has been doing the rounds setting the levels for the producers debut. Fiend then brings the grit to the release as its sonics morph throughout the track and finally we end with Lurker taking us on a journey of wonky growlers.

After some standout collaboration and remix projects, Mauoq emerges once again with fresh solo material.

‘Gift Shop’ brings that signature halftime vibe, blending sparse percussion and eerie synth layers to create a captivating atmosphere before unleashing a gritty bassline powerful enough to rattle any surface.

‘Racture’ shifts the pace with punchy, dancefloor-ready drums that lock seamlessly with a subtle yet driving monosynth arpeggio. The track evolves into a dynamic mix of morphing synth riffs, relentless percussive hits, and a weighty, double-barrelled low end.

This two-track release on Mauoq Music strikes a perfect balance between thoughtful halftime grooves and dark, skank-ready energy.

Jones&Roth love to cook both in the kitchen and the studio, and with The Menu, they serve a full evening’s experience. It begins, as many great evenings do, with a quiet reunion.
„Lange nicht gesehn“. A glance across the table, a shared memory, a familiar warmth. The conversation flows, playful and hungry – Fish and Chips, I Wanna Eat.
As the evening unfolds, the flavors deepen. Curry brings heat, Biang Biang adds texture, and Garnelen für Zwei speaks of closeness, shared bites, and unspoken things. There’s spice in the air, maybe even Shakshuka bubbling gently in the background. Somewhere, Alberto from Pipaso tells a story – his Verdegang winding through herbs, gardens, and time. Later, the mood shifts.
Jungle vibes - Sick Pad Thai lands on the table with bold confidence, while Halloumi offers dubby comfort in contrast. A Ketks between sips, sweet and unexpected serving the trippy contribution to the night. Then instrumental trap infused Dessert Fendi to finish and to put you into your dreams.
Finally, a last surprise: a remix of Curry, reimagined like a digestif, lingering on the palate and in the mind by fellow cooking friend Julian Bainbridge. A carefully curated evening of house and heart, playful details and polished taste.
