Seamless Recordings brings you the new release from Mikael Delta. Mikael began his career as a member of the band Stereo Nova who caught MTV Europe’s attention immediately. His first solo release came in 1994 entitled “The Picture”, under Belgian techno label R & S Records. The British Music Press gave him rave reviews on his second album “Blue Emotions”, released in 1999 by Glasgow Underground Records. In 2001, under the French label Distance Records he released “Halcyon Days”, an album that ended up in DJ Magazine’s best albums of the year list and made him widely known as a producer. He has since had releases on hi profile labels such as Defected, Plastic City and Atal Music and has even composed music for films and theatrical performances. The most recent film he composed the music for is “Strella” by Panos X. Koutras which met a great recognition in various film festivals all over the world. 

Staunch Hearts, draws on his more soulful past influences but yet it's done with 2014 techniques. With elegant production, this is for lover of more classic house. Mikael also provides two dubs. One, Dub A, he brings this track truly in to 2014 using a heavy bass line and garage influences to it this is bang on the sound of 2014. Secondly he brings us the Dub Tech mix, which is exactly what it says on the tin! This Dub is firmly in the underground, taking it deep and with feeling and a pure feeling or journeyed bliss. 

For a remix we bring in the up & coming A Lister. His rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Since releasing his first track on Orange Groove Records at the end of 2012, he has move on to remix and release on Nathan Gs' Luvbug Records, Luke Pompeys' Love Not Money, Hardsoul Recordings as well as the mythical King Street Records. Whilst taking in shows up and down the length of the UK and further a field in Europe, and amassing a large and devoted following on Soundcloud. His remix is exactly what you would expect from him, house with an influence of old school house and garage. This is definitely a remix that will be doing some damage on the dance floor this Spring 2014.

Adam Beyer is back on Drumcode with an impressive array of tracks that will get the senses tingling and shows us what Drumcode is all about. These 4 tracks are deep and almost melancholic in their approach to techno, using effects to really help enforce an ambience only Beyer can achieve within his productions. The under lying throbbing of the drums drives this EP into the forefront of the heads down Drumcode sound and have been heard in many of Beyer’s phenomenal sets throughout the year.

As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Cristoph’s first offering to Truesoul comes in the shape of a two track, tech house delight. Lead track ‘Genesis’ holds a pounding bass line and distorted vocals. The slow but steady build up, alongside the deep synth stabs, creates an intensive groove. ‘Exodus’ comes packed with atmospheric vocals and funky percussion. The two tracks together create an emotive and fast paced release – one not to be missed.

A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.

Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he’d have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches. A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least. 

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track ‘Capsule’ – a shimmering slice of techno - involved “around 15 different versions” the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.  ‘In Love’ is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that’ll have hairs standing on ends. ‘Atmosfear’ is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. ‘We Are E’ is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists’ shared love of classic UK rave.

Once again Paco Osuna's Mindshake Records is proud to welcome back Egbert who returns with Lachgas EP, the label's 49rd release and Egbert's 3rd full EP for the label. 

Egbert's special skills both as a producer and highly acclaimed Live Act have attracted the attention of big names from the electronic scene: Secret Cinema, Sven Väth, Paco Osuna, Gregor Tresher and Adam Beyer are just a few of the DJs and producers who have detected the genius beneath the fingers of this slick young Dutchman. 

Accompanying the original work is an artist who is also no stranger to the Mindshake family. Toronto's Carlo Lio returns to the Barcelona-based label on Remix duties to offer his blistering take on the EP's title track.
