One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਕਵਨ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਮਿਲਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਕੇਹੜੇ ਮੁਹੂਰਤ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਾਂ? (ਉਹ ਲਗਨ ਮੁਹੂਰਤ ਤਾਂ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ) 
What blessed destiny will lead me to meet my God?

ਪਲੁ ਪਲੁ ਨਿਮਖ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨੇ ॥੧॥
ਇਕ ਇਕ ਪਲ, ਅੱਖ ਝਮਕਣ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਸਮਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਨਾਲ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ) ।੧।
Each and every moment and instant, I continually meditate on the Lord. ||1||

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਵਉ ॥
(ਉਹ ਕੇਹੜੀ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ) ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ? 
I meditate continually on the Lotus Feet of God.

ਕਵਨ ਸੁ ਮਤਿ ਜਿਤੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਪਾਵਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਕੇਹੜੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਮਤਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਾਂ?।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
What wisdom will lead me to attain my Beloved? ||1||Pause||

ਐਸੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
(ਪਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰੀਏ—) 
Please, bless me with such Mercy, O my God,

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਸਰੁ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਬੇਰੇ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੯॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ) ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਕਿ, ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਨਾਹ ਭੱੁਲੇ ।੨।੧।੧੯।

If you desire to play this game of love with Me,

ਸਿਰੁ ਧਰਿ ਤਲੀ ਗਲੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਉ ॥
ਤਾਂ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਸਿਰ ਤਲੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਗਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ।
then step onto My Path with your head in hand.

ਇਤੁ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਪੈਰੁ ਧਰੀਜੈ ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ) ਇਸ ਰਸਤੇ ਉੱਤੇ (ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ) ਪੈਰ ਧਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ।
When you place your feet on this Path,

ਸਿਰੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਕਾਣਿ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੨੦॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਸਿਰ ਭੇਟਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ, ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਝਿਜਕ ਨਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਏ।
give Me your head, and do not pay any attention to public opinion. ||20||

ਗਗਨ ਦਮਾਮਾ ਬਾਜਿਓ ਪਰਿਓ ਨੀਸਾਨੈ ਘਾਉ ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ-ਰੂਪ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਦਲੇਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਅੜ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ-ਜੀਵਨ ਹੀ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹੈ ਅਸਲ ਸੂਰਮਾ । 
The battle-drum beats in the sky of the mind; aim is taken, and the wound is inflicted.

ਖੇਤੁ ਜੁ ਮਾਂਡਿਓ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਅਬ ਜੂਝਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਉ ॥੧॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਸਮ-ਦੁਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਧੌਂਸਾ ਵੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ਤੇ ਚੋਟ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਧ੍ਰੂਹ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ) ।੧।
The spiritual warriors enter the field of battle; now is the time to fight! ||1||

ਸੂਰਾ ਸੋ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ ਜੁ ਲਰੈ ਦੀਨ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ॥
(ਹਾਂ, ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਭੀ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਹੈ) ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਗ਼ਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਲੜਦਾ ਹੈ,
He alone is known as a spiritual hero, who fights in defense of religion.

ਪੁਰਜਾ ਪੁਰਜਾ ਕਟਿ ਮਰੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਛਾਡੈ ਖੇਤੁ ॥੨॥੨॥
(ਗ਼ਰੀਬਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲੜਦਾ ਲੜਦਾ) ਟੋਟੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਹੋ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਲੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ (ਪਰ ਪਿਛਾਂਹ ਪੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਾਂਦਾ, ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਬਚਾਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ ਦੀ ਫੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਬਾਂਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ) ।੨।੨।
He may be cut apart, piece by piece, but he never leaves the field of battle. ||2||2||
