I had it finished around May 2023 and as I didn't want to leave it rotting on my HDD, I just decided to post it anyway
But maybe I should've mixed it better

This is an original fan song I wrote based off the songs of Hybrid Theory. Voices were done using RVC, so don't mind if it sometimes sounds weird, especially Mike's parts. I tried to make it sound as authentic as possible, but sometimes the AI just don't wanna speak clear english.
This is my first time doing a voiced song, so voices might not be that well mixed.

I thought I'd initially make something more akin to the original soundtrack of Sonic 1 and 2, but I like having my own style. And since there's no MIDI available, I also had to transcribe the song by hand, which was no easy task to do. But I think it was worth it.

[16-Bit Genesis Remix] Love Is a Long Road

​For this one, I decided to go for a more realistic approach and decided to write this song based on how Konji Kondo would've possibly done. So that means taking some faint inspiration from the artists he liked, and doing it a bit jazzy, mysterious and creepy. The original Mario Bros soundtrack was quite simplistic in its style, so I kept it that way here.

I also noticed how the original underground theme was a bit "out of place" when compared to the other level songs. Still iconic for sure, but far too simplistic and short when compared to the Overworld and Underwater themes. Although that could also be said about the Castle theme.



Overall, maybe one could say this is an "AU" version of sorts.

Unrelenting Force (A DOOM Inspired Song)

First orchestral song I've ever made I guess, originally meant for an original work but I guess that's archived for now

Brief summary of the lore:
The Aetherian Technate of Soulran, sometimes referred to as the Stellar Civilization of Soulran, Stellar Civilization or simply Soulran rose from the ashes of ancient conflicts, founded by human merchants fleeing the collapse of the Valkar Empire. Emerging from the gone jungles of central Raedium, the city-state of Aetheron grew into a powerful economic force, only to be conquered by the orcs of Beshkar. In response, the surviving humans formed the militarized state of Nova Aetheron, meant to retake their old home and sparking a centuries-long war. With help from the enigmatic god entity, "Prime", the continent of Raedium endured multiple wars, leading to the rebirth of Aetheron and the rise of Soulran. After uniting with the beastfolk of Ar'qhaan from the eastern continent and undergoing the Revolution of the Gears, Soulran became a technocratic superpower devoted to science, education, and space-faring exploration. While boasting unparalleled technology and living standards, Soulran maintains strict militarism to protect its sovereignty and its empire throughout the cosmos, viewing itself as the guardian of existence.

DOOM Eternal? DOOM 2016? What matter is that this one is a bit shorter than the previous one, but it's more fast-paced. This one had some significant inspirations from other songs, but then again, Rip & Tear and The Super Gore Nest sound really similar anyway.

In the end, Argent Metal is quite fun, actually.
