On April 9th 2014, Aesop Rock released The Blob, a 32 min instrumental of beats and loops that never made the cut. When we heard this, we were compelled to rap to it. We reordered the tracks, cut it down to roughly twenty eight minutes and twelve seconds, then proceeded to do some of the most intense writing we have ever done for the past 4 months. So with out further adieu, I bring you the SEPHONER & HASKELL BREEZEBLOCK: THE BLOB MIXTAPE. Your surely in for a treat! Big thanks to Aesop Rock for releasing his amazing instrumental sounds and telling people to have fun with it, we sure as hell did.

Inspired by the visuals and the concepts of the Marvel comic book series Starjammers. I wanted to create a beat that told a narrative of galactic exploration when being heard. To me when I image the cosmos I think of "groovy" percussion and wavy ambience with a lofi tip. This is one of my interpretations.
