Dee Jay Alicia, a Chicago native, developed a love for music at a young age.  Her musical beginnings were rooted in soul, steppers and R&B. She began her DJ career in 1996 under the guidance of steppers DJ Raphael. She enjoyed a successful 16-year stretch as a stepper's DJ which included appearances on the weekly show Stepping at Club 7.

In 2010, she decided to dive deeper into the area of House Music. Since that time, she has played many venues throughout the U.S. leading up to Chicago's most prestigious stage in House Music as a guest at the Chosen Few Picnic in 2016 and 2017. She continues to DJ / Produce for the Legendary House DJ/Producer Terry Hunter's T's Box record label.

My first real introduction to Electro/Hip Hop was with the release of Street Sounds Electro 1 and the second track on this compilation was Jam On Revenge (The Wikki Wikki Song) by Newcleus. The Jam On Revenge album was on heavy rotation throughout my youth and Automan was one of my favourite trax from the album. I had the privilege some years ago of remixing "Teknology" from their second album "Space Is The Place" with Si Brown (Dexorcist) under our Gods Of Technology moniker which was recently released on vinyl. Here is my retuning of Automan using a few parts from the original Dub Mix.
