Press release: Having emerged from a crop of disco flavoured releases and vocal led remixes a couple of years ago, Ashley Casselle and Asadinho decided to embark upon creating a series of stripped down 'housey techno' dj tools to be used as experimental moments within their own podcasts and dj sets. This degree of honesty, and a desire to hark back to the roots of the music that drew them together in the first place, resulted in the sublime and bouncy 'Ceefox'. Grainy 70's b-movie strings atop an addictive bassline equals a subtle yet huge club moment wherever it's played. 

We here at Murge decided to entice these charming deejays to put out this deep and groovesome tune with us. Two remixes come courtesy of new kingpin on the block Jordan Peak, who takes things into a more stomping club arena, and the beautifully glictchy ambience of Julien Mier's headphone friendly interpretation. Finishing off proceeding with Phil Madeiski remix of deep dubby distorted movement. This track is only featured on Vinyl.

Big thanks to Ian Blevins for our first guest mix. 

Ian is hastily becoming one of Ibiza's defining features. Thanks to a weekly residency at arguably the greatest, and by far the most globally well-known night on the island, We Love… at Space as well as being involved as a resident for Future Disco at Carl Coxs much lauded night.

Years of passionately listening to and searching for music, both new and old, has seen Ian’s style mature and has helped cultivate a sound that is now synonymous with his name. Tours in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and the Middle East have peppered recent years, conquering countless venues along the way, including Playground Festival in Sydney, Garden Festival in Croatia, 360 in Dubai.

Back in UK Ian co runs That Old Chestnut In Northeast who have helped bring people such as Bicep and Gerd Jansen to the north east for the first time. All this as well as playing making appearances at some of the most respected club nights in the UK such as Back to Basics, Butter Side Up and Just Jack.

Never one to sit back in his downtime, Ian has been hard at work in the studio over the last few years ensuring his own productions match the standard he has set for himself in the club scene with records released and forthcoming on Rothmans, Culprit, Constant State, Disco Bloodbath, Is it Balearic, Colour Series, Blind Jacks Journey, Keep it Zen and Sneaky Music gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, John Talabot, Mano le Tough to name a few.

Back on the white isle in 2014 Ian once again held down continuing residencies at We Love… and the Zoo Project whilst also being a regular at top island haunts such as Pikes and Boutique Hostel Salinas.
