Leon Gray's full collection of Nine Matariki carols, as arranged for SATB Choirs. 

Written for community choirs looking for something that can be prepared without a long rehearsal period, these versions can be integrated into any performance celebrating Matariki, Māori New Year in Aotearoa/New Zealand; the time when the Pleiades constellation, and all it represents, can be seen most vividly in NZ skies. 

While not as challenging as the original SATB concert versions, these works offer great variety and all the colour that each of the nine stars of Matariki represent - tuneful, singable and easy to master.

Is a Romantic Ballard, I originally wrote on my upright piano in my five floor walk-up apartment (hence Walk-Up Productions). Makes my think of another writer and recording artist who did some of her song stylings in the same way!  
Imagine a man and woman professional ice skating team outside on a rink during the winter. possibly a park like setting.

Fin the Fish
Is a 1:2:2 collaboration by Teacher Andy Mersh and brothers Toby and Noah Hook. Part of the Songseeds Project funded by Youth Music. 

Verse 1
The once was a fish called Fin,
Who only did things for him. When his family said stop, Fin did not,
And all his family would sing…
Chorus
Not again, not again, not again Fin, Look at the mess you’re in!
Not again, not again, not again Fin, When will you start listening?
It doesn’t have to be like this,
You need to change your attitude, Because everyone just thinks you're rude.
Verse 2
One day they were all out for a swim. They saw a dangerous current on the brim. Mum said, “Stop!”
Dad said, “No!”
But Fin said, “Yes! Let’s go!” (Oh no!).

On this day, Fin got swept away. He found himself in the dark.
All alone, he saw some teeth in the reef. He knew they belonged to a shark. Trembling in fear, the shark came near. Fin knew that he was toast!
But the shark began to grin and he held out his fin, And said, “Let’s take you home!”

And they swam off together back home,
And Fin didn’t feel alone.
When they got back Mum said, “We were filled with dread!” “But we’re so glad you used your head!”
