Been divorced from my ex for about two years now, and some of that pain bled into this track. Somewhere in the middle, I found myself talking about the drugs I used to do, truth is, I’m 100% clean now 🙏🏽. The beat came from a random sample I pulled from a dusty old drum kit I downloaded over five years ago… crazy how inspiration hits.
