Born and raised in Santander, @p-e-a-r-l. first witnessed electronic music from late 90s - early 00s sounds which played a fundamental role in his productions.   As a teenager, the Spaniard immersed himself within club culture and was immediately drawn to the harsh beats of British techno. 

2006 marks the starting point of his now primary outlet: P.E.A.R.L. releasing his first tracks on Tsunami Records. In 2012 he moves to Berlin and one year after he founds his own imprint,  Falling Ethics Records, first as an outlet for his own productions and lately opening the doors to other creators like Umwelt or Oscar Mulero.
2017 is going to be a pivotal year on his career, with the release of his first Album, Temptation through Impatience, to be released on his very own Falling Ethics imprint and his addition to PoleGroup.

Recently in 2020-2021, he unleashed a string of hard-hitting tracks and EPs such as Tribal Science on Hector Oaks imprint OAKS or We Will Not All Fall , the first release of his new Falling Ethics sublabel Moral Standards: A subjective look at the current Techno scene with music from artists like Matrixxman, Sunil Sharpe, VCO or Nene H. 

As a performer he is an excellent selector in the dj booth, combining the pulse of pounding grooves in a very eclectic way, always making his sets an unexpected journey.

His music allies the soul of the genre with a modern methodology, and has the seal of genre defining labels like: Klockworks, Soma, Modularz, MORD, or Warm Up. He is one of the minds behind Hayes and runs his own mastering studio: Tema Mastering.

Co-head of SYXT and Glukkon Records, Romania-born artist Ketch steps in the series with two hours of full-fledged big-room-oriented dynamics. Combining the dark and brute side of steely industrial music with that of more deep-minded electronics, halfway dub immersion and further left-field acid eccentricities, Ketch ploughs his own furrow aside from techno's main drag, somewhere at the junction of raw brutalism and tribal-inherited transcendence. Just like his own tracks, the Italy-based producer’s mixes lay down a complex, near-labyrinthine mindset, not quite choosing its side between hands-on floor destruction and eruptive mass communion. Co-founder of the Barcelona originated and Berlin-based Room Trax imprint, Angioma, is the guest 185 of our podcast series. The imprint is known for its numerous releases exploring boundaries in techno and its intimate club nights in Barcelona, Berlin and Amsterdam.



Angioma explores all aspects in the scene, by being an established dj and producer. With numerous releases on Room Trax, Animal Farm, Made Of Concrete, Mind Medizin, and upcoming releases on industry staples like Soma and AMTK, and also Anaoh. @lindseyherbert is a commanding figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances. 

Since 2015, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident of Robot Ears and now Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's techno landscape. In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her releases have proliferated, with recent drops on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, Blank Code, Northern Parallels, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American imprints such as Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, and many others. 

In a noteworthy evolution, Lindsey's personal sound has transitioned to a more hypnotic, groovy, and dancefloor-oriented style. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep to peak-time and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove. Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists.
