Description :

For this first release of Initiatives Studio, we chose to release an EP from the french producer Dersee.

This five-tracks EP displays a fast, powerful and dark techno with EBM, post punk and rave tones.

All along the EP, which is thought like a dystopian story, Dersee brings us into his world of punchy leads and bass, strong kicks and deep vocals.

The tracks are tailored to be played in DJ sets, making people dance, and reminding us of the nights in Warehouses.

Industrial elements swirl around a dedication to heavy groove-laden beats across 4 original tracks, half broken, half straight to the floor. These are heavyweight bangers with careful attention to sound design, so approach with caution. The excellent Ike Dusk rounds out the EP on the remix, taking things deeper whilst applying a generous smattering of funk.
