Seamless to their first release of the Stone Techno series, The Third Room presents the second edition of this unique concept. Each artist has been given a sample library consisting of recorded minerals from the Ruhr Area. The task was pretty clear, to create a track exclusively out of those sounds. The results are remarkably different from each other and showing the huge creative potential of this project, which is a collaboration between the world-famous Ruhr Museum Foundation and The Third Room collective.

While Matrixxman delivers us an ambient-driven masterpiece, RØDHÅD shows you his impeccable skills to create an ever-evolving tension in his dub techno-influenced approach. Yan Cook on the B-Side is exploring the full potential of those samples to honor the industrial era and its machines, while T3R-Resident VNNN. is hailing with his hypnotic grooves the late hours of an extensive musical journey.

DEAS drops the heaving ‘Symmetry EP’ on CLR this June.

Previously appearing on CLR with ‘Command EP’ in January, the Greece-born, Poland-based DJ/producer DEAS returns to Chris Liebing’s imprint with ‘Symmetry EP’. Bringing another set of no-nonsense techno tracks, the BAU MUZIK honcho shows off his production chops across four sizzling productions.

‘Symmetry’ leads the release with grinding synths, ghostly vocals, and pumping percussion, moving into the rough ‘Crypto’, which brings subtle modulations across an evolving, drum-led arrangement that is equal parts sparse and dense.

‘Phase Two’ follows with trippy bleeps, metallic hits, and heavy low-end meeting for a rugged, late-night offering. Closing out the release is ‘OB’, which sees DEAS toy with creeping strings and textured loops, strung out across a 4/4 kick pattern for a tense and direct finalé.

This time is Ricardo Rodrigues AKA Industrialyzer who lands on the court of Damon Wild with three tracks perfectly aliened with the label's philosophy, Synewave has been at the service of real techno for over 20 years. 

It all begins with "Analogue Planet" a 130 bpm journey which rouses the dance floor whilst stimulating the mind, giving both of them no mercy. 

The second track, "Multiple Walls", carries the flavour of an Old School small march with a hammondesque synth which revolves around the groove from beginning to end. 

The atmosphere becomes dark and acid in the third and final track on this release. "Orbit X" is an emotional roller coaster which develops in different phases, everyone of which takes the listener by surprise. 

With this release Industrialyzer reminds us that, after all, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, Amsterdam or Lisbon don't really matter, quality techno is a global affair and Synewave consistently confirms this with releases above all schemes, movements and trends. Monumental.
