Vesper Remixed is an idea of let the music find it’s own way in new hands. Sara Parkman and Paula Temple met each other through their work with Fever Ray and her album Plunge which both were involved in. When Parkman wanted to give her critically acclaimed neo folk album Vesper a new more electronical costume, it felt given to ask Temple to add her beautiful and hard techno style to it. What we hear is a mash up between the old and new style of dancing - polska and techno. It’s full throttle, excstasy and monotonic beauty.

Celebrating 10 years of existence with a statement, Berlin’s GEGEN is releasing a solid 3-part compilation, grounding their work of the past decade into the newly founded label’s sonic aesthetic by showcasing the artists that have been at the heart of the infamous party series. This VA is a bundle of 30 tracks hailing from the true ride-or-die residents at the core of the project to the headliners whose support have propelled the collective from day one as well as up-and-coming artists that Gegen takes to heart to support.

Curated with our love for techno’s history of diversity in mind, this release travels through different subgenres and BPM and takes you from classic techno to industrial, hardcore to breakbeat, deconstructed to acid. “The Unfinished Fight Against Humanity” is SNTS' third full-length album following "The Rustling Of The Leaves" in 2015 and "Losing Sight" in 2016.

Ten tracks that are born from the combination of historical, mystical and current references, which lead to a reflection of how the human being can complicate its existence due to behaviour and the consequences that derive from such actions.

The dark, hard and energetic rhythms of the album narrate the coexistence of diverse human values throughout history, from peace to war, from love to hate, from empathy to ego.

In words of the artist SNTS, “the human being has been created to live in society, the problem arises when society fails to coexist or compete to survive”.
