The Beast Within

“The Beast Within” is the title track from the debut album from Brazilian producer and DJ, Diego Garcia on their own imprint, VRAAA Records; a queer label from Berlin. In the album, Diego alternates between both of their Projekt Gestalten and The Princess of Death aliases in order to create original pieces of music inspired by a point-and-click adventure game from the 90’s. As Projekt Gestalten, an array of dance tracks are functionally presented; dissecting a more rational aspect from the game's storyline. In contrast, The Princess of Death goes into an ambient and experimental approach; exploring liturgical themes. In the end, the gender polarizing concept is extrapolated and both aliases are finally merged into one another; leading to the Gestalt principle, alluded to in Diego's main alias, being fully applied as a whole.

"The Beast Within" will be released on 25 of February of 2022 on a heavy-weight 180g double vinyl edition and also on digital format.

Colombian artist Gotshell returns to BPitch with a truly varied package of eccentric productions and multi-genre excursions.
Whilst heavily inspired by the first wave techno of the ‘90s, Gotshell’s approach to production is one of genre synthesis, drawing upon styles ranging from IDM and acid to ambient and dub, and grounded continuously by an honest commitment to intense, uplifting rave music.
Armed with a passion for multi-genre musicality and a refined understanding of production techniques, this new EP brandishes references to subcultures from varying localities. Chaotic and serene in equal measure, Gotshell finds balance in the fusion of seemingly disparate sonic profiles.
Sintaxis is a statement of intent from the Colombian producer, tying together the threads between different shades of electronic music with an aesthetic distinctly his own.

Berlin-born https://soundcloud.com/lars-huismann makes his vinyl debut on Voxnox Records. After his last heavyweight releases on Animal Farm, RAW, Pls.Uk and Bipolar Disorder, he is bringing us another bomb in 12" Vinyl format.
 
The first track “Frozen Minds” is an excursion deep into unknown spaces and makes you feel like you are on an expedition into the sea. The bassline is constantly shaking while supporting the cleverly designed main synths in the groove and drives the track forward ‘steadily’ to the peak. 

"Delirium" is a trippy big room slammer, supported by a heavy rolling bassline, driving drums and a dark, intense atmosphere. The hypnotic synth line will devour you from the inside out and play with some brilliant effects. 
 
“Mechanical Thoughts” sounds like a saw on an mechanical apparition. The meditative synth-line is constantly modulating and drives the track forward with an impressive energy. After the first drop, Lars starts to play again with his question and answer game. Two well-designed synths alternate in an hypnotic pattern and take the listener into a mind-blowing trance.
 
“Autonomy Sacrificed” reveals Lars` melodic side. The track starts with a heavy slamming kick drum, supported by an smart bassline-pattern and percussion-body. 
However it gets more and more intensive, as the track proceeds. After a short time, the main melody brings up apocalyptic staccato-strings, which are set in an intriguing question and answer game.
