Ocktawian delivers four high-octane cuts of direct, peak-time techno to mint the Sinxergy label. 
Opening with a slamming 909 assault, “Error System” then dips into the hadal zone with a tripped-out sci-fi sound, and “Hurricane” gives the EP a touch of old school flavour. 
On remix duties is none other than Detroit veteran Mike Storm, who strips back “Error System” into an atmospheric roller for the twilight hours. 
All up, Unpatterns is a stand-out first transmission from the Berlin-based label, welcoming two artists fresh from album releases on Jeff Mills' Axis Records, and providing a platform for them to create something new.

Portuguese scfi maker Lewis Fautzi is here again with his very own recipe about how the music of the future should sound like. His style has evolved to harsher territories lately, with distortion appearing as one of the main components here. First cut Induced Pulse is a broken groove exercise, with pounding kicks and vocal samples providing the introduction while obscure components join the march as the minutes go. Undirected differential goes straight to the point from the beginning, with obsessive sequences running across a solid paced rhythm. The synth line evolves continuously, changing the filter frequency, mutating and constantly changing. B side opens with Intense Mechanism ,in a galactic mood with one bar arpeggiated sounds, modulated wisely running over a blurred and distorted drum line. Last slice is Stimulated Desorption, again hypnosis and repetition as leitmotiv with similar sound components as the previous one but with a more shuffled drum approach.

It's not the first Vertical Spectrum's contribution on Faut Section. But it is his first solo ep. 

As always the polish artist delivers heavy machinery, 4 flawlessly designed tracks,  totally distinct from each other but all of them following a guiding line, which is his personal touch.

The ep is a blend of looped, long-lasting and patterned sounds of various parts of an engine or an engine as a whole machine, perfectly oiled, working at a full capacity. Feral, wild and untamed techno at its finest.

UNCAGE and Marco Faraone are happy to welcome one of the longest running and most prolific techno acts The Advent to the label with the powerful Format EP which is completed with remixes from Flug, and label owner Faraone himself.

In 1994 Ferreira signed a record deal for 12 EPs and 3 albums together with Colin McBean aka Mr. G. This was the beginning of an era during which the duo set a worldwide standard for high quality underground Electro and Techno. Nowadays The Advent is a solo project, bombarding crowds around the world with its trademark raw, energetic sound. A sound that grants him yearly slots at festivals as Nature One, Awakenings and Bonusz, as well as regular shows in clubs as Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, Lehmann in Stuttgart, and Madrid’s Fabrik.

For his first EP on Faraone’s UNCAGE he drops Format. A raw and powerful 2 track EP which comes complete with remixes from Flug aka Sebastian Lopez and also Marco Faraone. The title and lead track is ‘Format’, an authoritative juggernaut of stripped and hypnotic techno. With exquisite production and arrangement, as you would expect from the revered artist, this is a journey which is a joy to listen to. Next up is ‘Void’ where The Advent lays down a track in his inimitable style. Pulsating rhythms and snares drive this track, which will take you into another dimension. This is perfect for late night sessions.

Next we have Marco Faraone’s remix of ‘Format’. As always with Faraone, the remix exudes power, clarity and gives off an air of serious business. This is a remix for when a big sound is required. Last but not least is Flug’s remix of ‘Format’ who we are happy to have one again on the label. He delivers an electrifying remix at breakneck speed. With intricately placed rhythms and grooves, and as always he does not disappoint.
