Mama Snake is the reptilian alias of Sara Svanholm, a Copenhagen-based DJ/Producer whose slithering beats are every bit as cunning as the name suggests. She’s an integral part of her city’s scene and a card-carrying member of collaborative ‘mixed media channel’ Amniote Editions alongside names like Celestial Trax, Hadone and D.Dan. Her full-blooded sound leaves no room for misinterpretation, it is thrilling, primal and overwhelming in the vein of the most compelling main stage techno. There’s a raw practicality to the music too, perhaps a function of her second career as a medical surgeon; Mama Snake wants to create a communal feeling through her work, and there’s the human touch. These rumbling rhythms might sound formidable, but they’re there to bring people together and get both bodies and progressive ideas moving. Bassiani Podcast 163 is pure, unadulterated, percussive power, 80 minutes of coiling loops and white-hot basslines from the Denmark-based techno matriarch.

On Saturday December 21, INCOGNITO & SIX AM present their 2024 Holiday Year-Ender starring UK-born techno stars RENE WISE & STEPHANIE SYKES, with support by Modus b2b ENNNA.

Rene Wise is the label boss of Moving Pressure, and is one of the stars behind Mote Evolver as well as releases on Bassiani Records, Blueprint, SK Eleven, Enemy and more. Meanwhile Stephanie Sykes is one of the most sought after techno artists to come out of UK, with releases on SOMA, SNTS, 47, OSF, Animal Farm, Vent and more. Both artists are regulars at all of the leading techno temples in the world, from Berghain, Tresor, Fabric, E1, to countless festivals, so expect a night of amazing techno, stretched to its upper limits.

Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra "keep it sexy." Her sets channel the liberating energy of the dancefloor - sweaty, ecstatic, and high-octane. With a relentless drive for fresh, high-intensity techno, she crafts ever-evolving sets rooted in the genre’s futuristic spirit, drawing from decades of club culture.


The mix is a part of a set played at RSO. During this day it was raining like crazy and my mind was going all over the place after an already busy show weekend.  Inside the club I felt a sense of relief and it was hot and sweaty. I wanted to release tension with this mix and have a versatile selection of happier techno with lots of tribalistic percussion and deeper, more emotional and intense techno. Its a high energy rushing mix where the club was fully dancing and screaming. I was going through stages of emotion myself and felt this response also from the crowd. I love how the few walls of a club can help me release anything inside my body, and share this experience with other likeminded ones.
