gave this round a try in the sp forum battles again. although there was the limitations and headaches resampling stuff over back and forth from the 202 and 404 to make some chord it was fun overall this challenge. i might have to make a strictly sp album in the future.

There are 8 samples here... you don't have to use all of them but I chose these one-shot types to encourage layering/pitching. Drums are a bit weak too so work them FX! 

Multiple SPs and tape bouncing allowed. 
No outside samples/snyths, but acapellas/watermarks allowed.
For now I'll set the deadline for July 6th, 21:00 Pacific time.

This is the piece I made for my master's thesis in Electronic Music and Recording Media at Mills College in Oakland, California.  It was recorded at the annual Signal Flow concert on March 10, 2016. 

This is my version of horror film music. Consisting of five movements, the piece follows a similar arc to that of a film; evoking feelings of dread, foreboding, tension and release.
