FloorWerk is a party based out of Essex & Morris County in Northern New Jersey. Started as just a party with 5 dj’s(Mike,Sadaat,Vazz-Lydell,Dakar & Dj Dent) back in 2009. Still going on until this day with Dj’s Mike Strick &!Sadaat Hamin aka BigHausHead. A virtual party on twitch.tv/FloorWerk & soon to be a party again for the public to attend.

What can I say about FloorWerk & it’s resident Dj’s Mike Strick & Sadaat Hamin. Only one of the longest running parties in Newark, NJ. Mike Strick from Morris County doing the Dj Party thing in that area for over 40 years & Sadaat Hamin aka BigHausHead is just what his pseudonym stands for, a lover of up tempo dance tunes decided to put his interest in the music to the test.

Djing is my hobby collecting & listening to music is my life. I’m a big fan of other Dj’s/song selectors. I’m a big fan of; Larry Levan , Tee Scott , Larry Patterson etc etc. My contemporaries that inspire me are; Mike Strick (my partner on the FloorWerk platform) Dj Tee Coleman(Beatz by da lb. ) Dj Beloved , Jihad Muhammad, Mark Lewis , & Mark Frances & that’s only to name a few. However my biggest influence is the maestro Mr. Timmy Regisford. 
       I do a weekly spot on mixlr.com/Liftedradio,Sundays 4-6pm. This channel is ran by Mike Arocho who’s also a very good Dj.
