haus|GASM Rookie Series - 0.2 - What I dance to

My 3rd Rookie Mix is finally ready! Between moving to a new space and all of the disruption that brings, this mix was a challenge to record. But I just went for it and moved through that creative block. I feel like I've grown so much since my first two. Here's to making an intention to own my path and to create the reality I want for me and all those I love to live in. As we move out of this Pandemic, let’s create a better future together!

haus|GASM Rookie Series - 0.3 - Post-Pandemic Pride

Rookie? No More - This mix is a lot has a HAUSyer vibe that is fun to listen to working, driving or being throwing down at some of my favorite local Seattle venues.

Wow... what a summer this has been so far. Booked my first gigs at Timbre Room on 8/15/21 (ourHouse) and Kremwerk on 8/27/21 (Rough Draft). I had the honor of playing Pride @ Madison Beach with my DJ collective as well as a bunch of rave campouts.  It’s a high-energy mix with some tech house, piano, uplifting and edgy vibes. I hope you enjoy it!

haus|GASM for the Clerb 0.1

Debut mix alert! I just played my first ever club gig! I'm still processing it, but I am glowing from the experience. It was truly an honor, and I’m humbled to have been invited to ourHOUSE (Amy [YourMOM], Justin [NotYourDADDY] & Brian) and for the trust that I was ready for it.  Thank you to all of those that came out to dance with us! 

ourHouse resident; Amy, got the party started with style and an intoxicating energy.  It inspired me, and I ended up putting aside the crate that I made and going with my gut in the moment. This mix begins with a couple B2B tracks as the reigns were handed off to me. The set seemed to go off, and everyone looked sweaty and happy afterwards and wanting more.:). 

Alfonso slayed it once we moved indoors, and it was such a pleasure to have a B2B moment, in a club, with my mentor. 

And to cap off a wonderful evening, seeing Amy & Justin's energy as they had their own B2B moment, and to see Justin closing the evening out with some amazing Piano house, it brought out those feelings.

Thank you again for having Alfonso and I and for creating such a magical Sunday @ Timbre Room.

Live recording from my 2nd time playing @ Cuff in 2022. I had the honor of sharing the decks with local talent CAFÉNICO & MZ ARTIZ. Reflections

Well…. What a night, it popped off! I had a blast playing alternating sets with @NKL @ the legendary Cuff Complex. So glad we recorded it here’s set no2 from that night. It’s got some house, a tiny bit of feel-good Disco, and ravey tech-house, of course. So grateful to bring my music to the space that has been a place to hang out and dance since moving here. And sometimes I get to play some tunes to there. Nothing beats the joy of seeing ya’ll resonate when I experiment with music that I would have danced my ass off to; it’s gorgeous. You’re on a new journey, and I’m here for it!

This mix is from a live recording from the Open House Collective Halloween Bash @ the Woods and it's been a minute since I've seen that space go off like it did that night! It was fun to get creative with this set and throw the crowd some curve balls, screams, thrills, and fun techy house basslines throughout. To celebrate 2022, which had many new experiences including my first international gig at Vancouver Pride, I'm dusting off mixes I recorded but have been sitting on my laptop. These are from the first 18 months of new DJ journey as HUAS|GASM. This one includes first as it has some of my favorite tracks I played during the year, along with some fun ravey anthems and throwbacks. I hope you enjoy. ⚡️

Welcome! This is part of my Rookie series, as a way for me to try out recording, mastering, and sharing my music with you all as I practice and develop my skills. I bought my first controller in November and have been learning to mix. It has honestly been a great outlet during this Pandemic, to focus on something creative and that brings me and others joy. I love playing music that sets the vibe! As we come out of this pandemic, hopefully, this delights your ears and gets you moving. It was a lot of fun to make and this is just the first one.

This was recorded on NYE 2021 and wasn’t going to be my first one, but after listening to the recording, I needed to share it. It is a high-energy set of the music I like to dance to!

haus|GASM Rookie Series - 0.1 - NYE 2021

Music lover & DJ -  Irish expat living in Seattle, WA.  I’m still figuring out this DJ thing (again), and so grateful for all the support and opportunities I’ve had so far. It's exciting been an exciting 2 years back doing what I love.

Recorded my first mixes for house parties in Dublin in the 00s only to have a hard drive failure and a move to the US upend things. The pandemic offered a chance to take a break and reconnect with music as a DJ, again. 

Having grown up listening to 90s dance, BBC Radio 1 dance, exploring the above & underground scene in Dublin, London, Manchester, and mainland Europe. I found myself always drawn to House music. I’m sucker for classic sounds, as well as the UK Garage, Deep House, techno, and the vibes I grew up with.
