''Boys Boys Boys" is a song written by @LadyGaga and @RedOne in 2007. The song was released on Gaga's debut album, #TheFame, and was planned to be released as the next single after "Paparazzi", but was canceled. Instead, The Fame Monster was released earlier, and "Bad Romance" was chosen as the new single.

Background and composition:

After being dropped by Island Def Jam, New Heights Entertainment decided to introduce Gaga to @RedOne, as they were both represented by them at the time. After some hesitation, RedOne agreed to meet Gaga, and they created the basis for "Boys Boys Boys" on the first day. The song was available briefly on Gaga's MySpace in 2007. The inspiration behind it was to make a pop song with a bit of rock to impress the guy she was dating at the time, who was really into metal.

“ I wrote the track as a mating call. I was dating this who was really into heavy metal and I wanted to write a pop song that would make him fall in love with me. So I wrote that record and we dated for two years. It reminds me of "Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue. The subtext is that even though I'm a very free and sexually empowered woman, I'm not a man hater. I celebrate very American sentiments abouts bar and drinking and men buying women drinks.
