Parcequ’il fait de la belle musique, paisible, accessible, c’est beau, c’est pas choquant, tout est à sa place et c’est très bien fait. Mais attention, pour autant, cette pseudo perfection, ne tombe pas nonplus dans la facilité, c’est bourré de charme et c’est original. Avec Bot1500, je ne m’ennuie pas, les sonorités sont parfaitement bien choisies, les melodies, les notes me font du bien, ne vous attendez pas à une fracture du crâne dystopique et futuristique, mais plutôt à une élévation positive et mélancholique, ancrée dans l’instant présent. Respectfully dedicated to my friend Rei Harakami, an exceptional talent. May your journey through the stars be peaceful.

This is my interpretation of Rei's music, recorded back in 1997. 
The sound clip at the beginning is from one of my favourite movies 'Mina Tannenbaum.' When the knowledgeable art critic and self-righteous arrogant judge of what's good and bad derides Mina for her lack of style, she angrily retorts "..er, so just what do you mean by the words (snaps fingers) "Style?" I think I like her character because I identify with the confused reactions of those around her to her work, or perhaps more about her inability to accept the world she lives in.
