Time to welcome back Argentinian producer Manuel Sahagun to Freerange for his follow up to his brilliant 2019 release Awake. Manuel has been putting out quality house music since the early 2000’s and has released tunes on Berlin’s Tooman, UK’s Drop, and Detroit’s Kolour as well as remixing legends such as Warren ‘Hanna’ Harris, Robert Owens and Patrick Chardronnet. He brings a freshness and eclecticism to his productions that fits in perfectly with the Freerange ethos of forward-thinking house music loaded with warmth, bumping grooves and a touch of soul.
The three tracks on offer here range from the acid-tinged, 707 driven Body through shuffled, Detroit-inspired groove of Move and closing out on the slow-mo blissed-out Balearic mood on Ritmo Pandemico. Some great new music to keep your discerning dance floors bouncing to!

“Aura” is a second release for Verdant Recordings, a UK vinyl label curating new and established artists and their own interpretations of deep electronic music. The 1st EP “Emerald City” was initially lathe cut as limited run 101 but overwhelming interest in the project demanded a full pressing which was selected by Juno as their single of the week and soon sold out.
On the second EP Havantepe and RV800 are reunited after the Subsync EP on Japan’s Formula. They share the wax with UK based Mick Welch and vinyl newcomer from Russia, Low Orbit Satellite. There is a rich thread of deep acid and dubby tones throughout the EP perfectly exemplified by the Havantepe opener “Phosphor” which is premiered here. But in truth its hard to pick a highlight off the record with every track sounding unique.
The label, run by Andy Green, is working on further releases that includes an exciting line up artists and breadth of music. Andy himself has been collecting and clubbing for 30 years and now distilling that passion and knowledge into this project. He’s also DJing himself in London and for Timeline-Music.

Hamburg 'boy band' Volker.live release their last EP ever. The trio's final act takes one back to the summer of 2019 when they decided to rock and perform on stages around the globe. The highlight of their sets and creative on-stage being always was My Love Will Set You Free, an uplifting homage to electronic music, namely to House with an Acid-note paired with melancholic almost nostalgic-sounding vocals by the trio's friend ÆN. With an as catchy track as My Love Will Set You Free is the release of an EP took shape as several artists wanted to take on remix duties right away. One of them was Berliner Lucky Charmz, who emphasizes the Acid or rather saying the trippy amount of sounds of the track but still keeping the track's disco-ish note. With a total length of almost 10 minutes Lucky Charmz builds up an intriguing groove with even more inspiring synth-lines, which in the end conglomerate to a homogenous summer-ish trippy version, one wishes to hear during the none-existing festival season of summer 2020. 

Volker.live's EP My Love Will Set You Free is already released on vinyl already, digital will follow on Mireia Records on May 29th, 2020.
