"Our latest song , 'Regarde le Dessin,' translates to 'Look at the drawing' in English. An ode to the psychedelic realm in the arts-a poem for those exploring alternate realities. A quest to discover the boundless creativity within oneself, navigating between hallucination and illumination. This warm analog meditation aims to help us become what we seek. The poem is accompanied by an acidic groove played by the 303, not too slow nor too fast. Jazz chords and disco strings complement the velvet words of Jaw's voice, penetrating your mind.

For the remix, we enlisted the expertise of electronic dub masters from Germany, @Wareika (Florian Schirmacher, Henrik Raabe, Jakob Seidensticker). This collaboration marks our first since our Watergate Records album 13 years ago, making it a fitting reunion. Wareika takes the original version into even more psychedelic atmospheres, offering a beautiful rendition, perfect for getting lost on a Sunday morning at your favourite CDV. Enjoy!" - @dopofficial

We R The Aliens offers up the second edition of its various artist series this June, featuring music from the Boronas & Snad, Mountain People, Nesta and Baertaub.

Following up on Ohm Hourani’s infectious single “Barbara” which included a remix from Ricardo Villalobos and Amir Javasoul, We R The Aliens is happy to present its fifth release this June with another all-star cast: Boronas & Snad, Bärtaub, Mountain People and Nesta. Founded in Germany in 2019 by Jakob Seidensticker, MELINA, Boronas and Snad, the We R The Aliens imprint has been slowly churning out heady releases for those in the know over the past five years with music from the likes of Markus Sommer, Katie Drover, Chklte, Smallpeople and more.

Boronas & Snad set the tone with ‘Affliction,’ laden with haunting synth work, rolling MPC percussion, meticulous backspins and mind bending delays, all dynamically unfolding across the track’s seven and a half minute duration – now that’s some bang for your buck. Fresh off an outing for Yoyaku’s main label, Istanbul duo Bärtaub are up next with ‘Orbit The Dance Planet.’ The boys give a strong nod to the 90s and the cult E-MU rompler of the same name in their track which fuses bumpy breaks and robotic voices with ghostly chords, a snaking bass groove and of course, one- shots from the beloved machine.

On the flip side, widely beloved Swiss artist Mountain People offers up ‘I Am The Void,’ featuring the producer’s signature shuffled drum grooves and soft chord sequences intertwined with murky, dubbed out stabs. Beirut’s Nesta then rounds out the release with ‘Tarte Citron’, a thwacking b-side reminiscent of golden-age tech house from the late 90s, this number is fuelled by crisp percussion, acid tinged bass, airy synth flutters, swelling sub bass tones and a catchy vocal hook.

After receiving so much love for their first Various Artists (WRTA002), the aliens are back for more; don’t sleep!

200 Records launches 200 BLACK; a new vinyl series focusing on organic and analogue techno. Its first release comes from Havantepe (Istanbul). After some brilliant dub-techno releases on various labels, he helps to inaugurate 200 BLACK with "Distanced". The title track is a dreamy dub-techno opus nearly 10 minutes long. The b-side includes a massive techno monster "Steady State" and the trippy "Sideway Funk”.

Supported by Matthias Vogt, Jackmate, Michel de Hey, Josh Wink, Nadja Lind, Mark Henning, Raresh and Dubfire.

AISSA RECORDS is a Montreal boutique vinyl sub-label of SULEIMAN RECORDS. Founded by DJ/producer Darem Aissa, the name of the imprint pays homage to Syrian poet Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets.
